Why this site exists Inside Thoughts September 30, 2025 The content on this website is password protected. The goal with the password primarily to ensure that the pages don't get indexed on search or by AI agents, but also to prevent people from stumbling onto the content by accident. If you don't know the password, you're likely not my target audience. Ideally, I'd share the content with everyone. But I've seen too many times how content that gets outside the intended audience gets misunderstood and misrepresented. I think this is especially true for personal reflections, which is what most of the content here is. If you know me, you have context that helps you understand where I'm coming from. If you don't know me, you don't have that context, and it's easy to misinterpret things and think I'm saying something that I'm not. The password is not meant to make an echo chamber of only people who agree with me. It's meant to ensure that there's some connection between me and the people reading the content. It's obviously quite easy for the password to escape to people that don't know me, so this isn't exactly a secure means to do this, but I'm hopeful that it'll help and I'm willing to guess this blog wasn't going to get viral anyway (that's not really the goal). Enter the password I shared with you below. You should only have to do this once per device.
